We believe that the Holy Bible is the true word of (the one true and living) God written to mankind by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, that He was crucified and died on the cross for the sins of all, that He was buried and was then resurrected by God the Father on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
We believe that salvation is the free gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work of the cross; it cannot be earned. Through the work of the cross, God has forgiven our sins and reconciled us to Him; He has given us Grace.
Therefore, we accept this free and wonderful gift of Grace knowing that we do not, have not and cannot ever deserve it, and again, we can NEVER earn it. We must believe it and receive it by faith.…
We believe that the Holy Spirit literally lives within those who hear and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, confess their sin and repent (a change of heart) and confess with their mouth that He is both Savior and Lord.
Baptism with water is an outward expression of the new inward condition.
Baptism is not a requirement of salvation; faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work of the cross is the only requirement. Therefore, since baptism is a physical act, it can never bring salvation as salvation is not earned by works, it is the free gift of God.
That said, the candidate for baptism is one that has already been saved by the Grace of God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Should that one desire to be physically baptized with water, then the method would be immersion. This not only symbolizes the cleansing of the soul, but it also symbolizes the death and burial of the old (spiritual) creature and the rising of the new (spiritual) creature (Romans 6: 3-7).
Each first Sunday of the month, all who desire to may partake in the communion service. It is open to all believers in Christ (member or non member).
